Profile - About Charlie Mackinlay

After qualifying as a Swedish massage therapist in 2006, I continued my study in learning additional skills towards building my practice and then I finally set up Knots-Therapy in March 2011.

I believe that good health and well-being are an important part of everyday life.

I embarked on my own personal journey, which inspired me to heal and help people.

I have travelled widely, which has given me an insight into different cultures and ways of holistically treating ailments, which I feel has inspired me in my work and the practices that I use.

Treatments can be firm or gentle to suit each individual and although I follow a general routine, each treatment is tailored to suit my clients specific needs.

You will find us located in Felixstowe, just a short walk from the town centre.

Fundraising

I am a regular fund raiser for Cancer Campaign in Suffolk who support individuals and their families who are faced with this awful disease. I lost my mother in 1992 after a long battle with cancer when I was just 19. Back in the 90’s the information provided for families was very limited. I have since had friends experience this amazing service and found it incredibly beneficial. Since 2008 i have raised over £2000.
